Tango Limited has come on board as a sponsor to the PNG Fashion Week NGCB Paradise Runway.

Marketing Manager for Tango Limited Ms Charmaine Foronda said Tango will be assisting all designers taking part in the NGCB Paradise Runway with shopping vouchers as well as stepping in to assist with fabric needs where possible.

Speaking at the presentation at the Hilton Hotel recently, Ms Foronda further added that Tango Limited is happy to support PNG Fashion Week because as a company, they also operate within the same space as a retailer of fashionable clothing lines.

Ms Foronda, Marketing Manager of Tango Limited present shopping vouchers to Ms Kelegai, Director of PNG Fashion Week and designers.

“We are happy to be supporting PNG Fashion Week by giving out shopping vouchers to all the designers taking part as this will assist them in their preparations.”

“As a business that also operates in the world of fashion, it is only fitting that we support such an amazing event like the NGCB Paradise Runway,” Ms Foronda said.

Director of PNG Fashion Week Ms Philma Kelegai said the inclusion of Tango Limited as a sponsor is also timely as the event draws near and so any support from sponsors such as Tango Limited is very much appreciated.

Ms Kelegai said Tango Limited has also supported the PNG Fashion Week platform in the past and so with this recent sponsorship through the shopping vouchers for the designers, this will further enhance the working relationship.

“We are thankful to Tango Limited as well others who have come on board to support this year’s NGCB Paradise Runway and all these support will go a long way in helping us stage one of the biggest fashion shows that this country has ever witnessed.”

“For us here at PNG Fashion Week, we are all about telling Papua New Guinean stories through fashion and art and so to have locally owned businesses coming on board to support our cause is very encouraging and motivates us to deliver nothing but world class entertainment through fashion,” Ms Kelegai said.

Ms Kelegai added that the event has been put closer towards the country’s independence celebrations as they would like for it to be a celebration of art, culture and fashion all merged into one night of world class entertainment.

The PNG Fashion Week NGCB Paradise Runway will take place at the Hilton Hotel in Port Moresby on the 17th of September.
